Hardwood Floors - Laminate
Both Solid Hardwood floors and Laminate floors can be used for
domestic or commercial locations.
Laminate floors have been used in Europe for over 20 years. They
normally have a tongue and grooved interlocking system which does
not require glueing, and therefore making it a DIY job for the
home handyman to do himself.
There are many types of 'Wood-Effects' represented by the laminate
floor manufacturers - including Oak, Beech, Pine, Cherry and Maple.
They are normally laid on a floating floor with an underlay specially
made for either laminate or wood floors, which have a certain
amount of sound-proofing and a moisture barrier.
